VBAC Preparation

Each woman and family approaching Vaginal Birth After Cesarean has a unique and often difficult previous birth story that has brought them to this crossroads. Some women are at peace with this story, while others are still tender and feeling varying degrees of sadness, disappointment, fear, confusion, guilt, and anger. If you’re pregnant with your second or third child and hope to have a VBAC, counseling sessions provide a space where you can process your previous birth experience, explore your hopes for the next birth, work with lingering doubts and fears, and encourage feelings of empowerment regardless of how your next baby is born.
